What is a deep plate?

A deep plate skirts the line between bowl and plate. Deeper than a dinner plate, but not as a deep as a bowl, they're ideal for dishes that need a little extra coverage, but may look less-than-premium if served up in a bowl. Think pasta dishes, curries and other looser mains.

How big are they?

These deep plates are 270mm in diameter (the space from side to side, including the rim), making them large enough for any main. The inner bowl can hold up to 2 litres.

Are they dishwasher safe?
